Recognised bodies transport dangerous goods

The Netherlands Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management has appointed the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) to issue recognitions to recognised bodies based on the Regulation concerning recognized bodies for the transport of dangerous goods. The regulation covers transport operations via road, rail, inland waterways and sea.

Regulated transport operations

Do you want to apply for recognition to perform one or more activities based on the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods? Such as inspection and certification of packaging, pressure containers and tanks or other activities?

Transportable pressure equipment regulation

The ILT has been appointed by the Ministry to grant recognitions based on the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (2010/35/EU) for the transport and usage of this equipment. You apply for this recognition at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. The ILT is the appointed market supervisory body.
