You can notify the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) of an event that affects the health and safety of people or the living environment in the Netherlands.
Urgent notifications
To submit an urgent notification to the ILT, please dial +31 88 489 0000. If required, please fill in the appropriate notification form afterwards.
Non-urgent notifications
To submit a notification that is not urgent, please complete the appropriate notification form.

Notifying the ILT of a serious crime anonymously
If you want to notify the ILT of a serious crime, such as organised environmental crime, malpractice in the transport sector or fraud at a housing association, you can contact the Team Criminele Inlichtingen (TCI) (Criminal Intelligence Team, in Dutch). The TCI is part of the Inlichtingen-en Opsporingsdienst ILT, IOD (Special Intelligence and Investigation Service). If you fear serious personal consequences, such as dismissal or threats, you can make your notification anonymously. The TCI guarantees full confidentiality.
After your notification
The ILT registers all incoming notifications. If necessary, the ILT will take action. All notifications are also used for risk analysis purposes, allowing ILT inspectors to organise and coordinate their work properly.
