Environmental Crime Threat Assessment 2024

Environmental crime is not only a problem for nature, but also a worrying security issue that threatens our health and well-being. In a special edition of the Environmental Crime Threat Assessment, researchers from the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate's Intelligence and Investigation Service (ILT-IOD) and the Netherlands' national police warn of criminal practices that manifest themselves within the plastic waste chain and around climate regulations.
