Accommodation plan
The accommodation of ships must be approved before the construction or reconstruction of the accommodation may start. The procedures for approval of the following ships may be found underneath.
Platform Maritiem has developed a streamlined procedure for the application by the ship owner of exemptions from the accommodation requirements for ships of which the keel was laid on or after August 20th 2015. This procedure is found underneath.
For a number of shiptypes the accommodation requirements of the MLC, 2006, as implemented in the Regulation Seafarers, are available:
- All ships
- Passenger ships
- Commercial yachts
- Special purpose ships
