Notified bodies marine equipment
Are you a conformity assessment body based in the Netherlands? Would you like to become a notified body for marine equipment? And do you comply with the European Directive on marine equipment (2014/90/EU)? Then you can submit your application to the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT).
Apply to become a notified body
You apply to become a notified body by submitting the application form Aanvraag niet-scheepsgebonden erkenningen en typegoedkeuring uitrusting.

Application process
For your application ILT will assess the following documents:
- application form;
- accreditation certificate Dutch national accreditation body (Raad van Accreditatie, RvA);
- scope of accreditation, RvA;
- registration form Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel, KvK);
- copy liability insurance;
- organization chart;
- Part A and Part B of the RvA assessment report.
Is all information correct? And has it been positively assessed? Then ILT will send you the notification within the term of the Dutch General Administrative Law Act Algemene wet bestuursrecht (Awb).
