The Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate oversees the safe transport of dangerous goods by road, which is laid down in the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act (WVGS), the Dangerous Goods (Transport) Decree (BVGS) and the Regulations concerning the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Land (VLG).
