Revalidating ratings and remarks

How you revalidate ratings and remarks depends upon your specific situation.

You can revalidate ratings and remarks by passing a proficiency check or completing refresher training.

  • If the instructor or examiner endorses your current valid licence by writing the new expiry date of the rating(s) and remark(s) on the back of your current licence the revalidation will be free of charge.
  • If the instructor or examiner does not endorse your current valid licence by writing the new expiry date of the rating(s) and remark(s) on the back of your current licence the revalidation will be charged accordingly.

A proficiency check can be used to revalidate all class and type ratings.

Refresher training can be used to revalidate the following ratings: SEP and SET.
