Do (night) movements without a slot fall within the policy of slot violation?
Yes, all movements without a slot (NO-RECS) fall within the policy of slot violation. The wording under 22-25 has been adjusted to ‘A night movement holding a slot for a day operation or no slot at all’. If an infringement occurred during the night curfew it is still is seen as slot misuse by operating a flight without a slot by the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT). Government flights, emergency landings and humanitarian flights are excluded.
If the ILT investigates any operation without a slot, the airline will always be summoned to respond to an information request by the ILT by e-mail. It is the airlines responsibility to register a dedicated e-mail contact with the ILT.
