The Netherlands Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management has appointed the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) to issue recognitions to recognised bodies based on the Regulation concerning recognised bodies for the transport of dangerous goods. The regulation covers transport operations via road, rail, inland waterways and sea.
Regulated transport operations

Such as inspection and certification of packaging, pressure containers and tanks or other activities? Check whether they fall within the Regeling erkende instanties vervoer gevaarlijke stoffen (Regulation on recognised bodies for the transport of dangerous goods, in Dutch).
In addition, there are special regulations covering the transport of dangerous goods:
- Regeling vervoer over land van gevaarlijke stoffen (by road, including the ADR, in Dutch)
- Regeling vervoer over de spoorweg van gevaarlijke stoffen (by rail, including the RID, in Dutch)
- Regeling vervoer over de binnenwateren van gevaarlijke stoffen (by inland waterways, including the ADN, in Dutch)
